I wish there was a way they'd let you pick out 100 channels YOU want, I only watch about 10 or 12 channels on our 100 something Comcast channels. They're are so many other ways to watch your shows and sports etc it makes cable not worth it. We were able to negotiate 'a deal', so we chose to stay with it one more year. I can only remember going to the movies alone twice--once before I entered the convent. I was in Philadelphia shopping and wanted to see Imitation of Life. I was afraid it wouldn't come to Wilmington before I left. I also remember going to see a Susan Sarandon movie when I was out of state on a conference. Songs? The first two songs I learned were Let Me Call You Sweetheart and Show Me the Way to Go Home! My day taught them to me and they always remind me of him. My mom also loved Bing Crosby as well as Perry Como! But I also remember her joking around singing a song called "Speedo" back in the 50s. (They often call me Speedo but my real name is Mr. Earl). As for fairy tales--I guess I've always been a dreamer and a romantic so I loved fairy tales but the one that always frightened me was Jack and the Beanstalk. Have no clue as to why! I would do it in a heart beat, but I'm not the one that watches TV here, LOL :) We are bundled together with our phone and internet, which I'm not crazy about, but seems to be the thing to do at least here. I have gone to movies alone, usually in the afternoon, not the evening. I've done fast food by myself and family type restaurants alone, but never a "fancy" place. Not sure I could do that unless I read through the entire meal :)

bettybettyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06323135450742337670noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2469509176316025961.post-59677022271758685992015-02-25T08:58:23.284-05:002015-02-25T08:58:23.284-05:00It's been a while since I had a problem decidi...It's been a while since I had a problem deciding what to make for lunch. The cost is ridiculous too. We should probably investigate some other options, but it's a bundle, so that would mean internet and phone too. First of all, he's a much bigger fan of TV in general than I am, and secondly he'd be lost without sports to watch.
