Last night:
This morning:
It's so deep, Ally & Pepper won't get off of the porch...they're doing their business on the porch. It's concrete, so I'm not that concerned about them ruining anything.
The bird feeder may give you an idea of how much snow we got:
And my car:
Apparently somebody forgot to lock up when they left the stadium at the Univ. of Tn. last night:
Looks like they were having a great time...until the police came!
I love that my favorite meteorologist (who is from Colorado) is encouraging everybody to get out and play in the snow!
The main road in front of my house looks fairly clear...for now, but as I look outside I see it snowing. CH is working from home, YS doesn't have class, and, of course, I'm out of school today. Looks like I probably will be out again tomorrow, and we're out Monday for Presidents' Day.
As I sit on my couch, this is my view:
Not bad. I'm enjoying it, because I know it won't last. It will probably be gone by tomorrow night.
If you have bad weather where you are, stay warm and safe. And, as NC governor Pat McCrory said, "Don't put your stupid hat on!"
Wow! Real snow! Stay safe and enjoy. :)
ReplyDeleteI am living vicariously through all the snow photos that everyone is posting! We just had a little freezing rain here along the coast of SC, and that is unusual for us!
ReplyDeleteYour yard looks so pretty!
I'm sure the call went out on social media to have all those kids just show up at the stadium. It looked like fun!
ReplyDeleteI love that phrase. I might just have to steal that. Be safe!!
ReplyDeleteLove the before and after photos. We have one pup who loves LOVES the snow (Kali) and one who would never set a toenail in it if we'd let her get away with that (Mei).
ReplyDeleteHope you are safe and warm.
It does look beautiful. Enjoy your time off and go outside and play!!
ReplyDeleteLoved the video......
We're off again too. But ours is due to the ice melting off the main bridge and practically killing drivers, so it's closed. I know we'll be back at it tomorrow but we have Monday off too! I have really enjoyed these days even if we did have ice instead of snow. Your snow is gorgeous! And I am a bit jealous. I'm not about to play on the ice. LOL
ReplyDeleteIt sure is pretty!!
ReplyDeletepeople will ALWAYS put on their stupid hat in snow!!!
ReplyDeleteAre you guys going to have to make up all these snow days? It is beautiful, though, got to admit it, but I think enough is enough is enough for you guys! Too bad they can't bring that snow here as we are facing a drought, but enjoying beautiful 80 degree days.
ReplyDeletestay safe!
betty
Stupid hat? Love that.
ReplyDeleteSo….it doesn't appear that you've been dining al Fresco lately???
