Menu Plan Monday #2

Since I get paid on the 15th & 30th of every month, I usually try to plan for 2 weeks at a time. The 15th is on a Sunday, which means payday is Friday the 13th.

  1. I'm going to make that sloppy joe casserole; it looked interesting! Its good to use new recipes too. I did more of that when son still lived at home. Then after we ate, we would critique the recipe and see if there was anything we would change with it. I'd mark that on the recipe if there was. Then I would put the date I made the recipe on the bottom of the page (I copied lots of recipes from various sites online) so that I wouldn't make it too often :)

    Enjoy!

  4. I'd like to be there Thursday. I haven't had a fried pork chop in eons. I'm enjoying the menu posts too. I think we all get in a rut this time of year. We're having homemade chicken and rice soup with a salad on the side. It's snowing/icing and not very nice outdoors. Makes me crave homemade soup.

  7. I pinned the Sloppy Joe casserole. It's looks like comfort food to me. I'm glad to see you're a fan of Southern Plate, too! I love Christy Jordan!

  8. Yummy. I am planning on red beans for tomorrow. I need to remember to soak them tonight. I am going to be home tomorrow working on taxes so it's a good day to simmer beans.
