I woke up with a heavy heart this morning, although I had a feeling the election was going to turn out this way. I have lost so much faith in the American people. I was looking forward to having a President who didn't think he was a rock star or movie star, but someone who would bring the dignity of the Office back.
As I watched the news this morning, I saw Romney supporters with tears in their eyes. I didn't take it to mean that it was because Romney lost, but rather because they love our country. I'm very worried about what the next four years will bring.
My hope is that Obama learned things through going through the campaign, and will change some of the things he did over the last four years. We can only hope, right?
