~ I've been a bad, bad blogger lately...I haven't posted in over a week. Honestly, my heart just hasn't been in it, but I'm trying to get back on track.
~ Community Band Practice started back up last week. The director had a great idea to do a "John Philip Sousa" theme. We're playing some great music!
~ Flute Choir is chugging along, too. For anyone who is wondering about the "scent saga", you'll be happy to know that it's been solved! 2 weeks in a row, and I've found the solution. Before practice, I take a shower and use unscented soap, shampoo, and deodorant, and put on clothes that have all been washed in unscented laundry detergent. Then, I dry my hair without using any gel or hairspray.
~ My FIL & MIL's 50th Anniversary is coming up in 2 months. My SIL & I are going to get treat bags together for the guests, complete with some homemade touches.
~ So, there you have: short & sweet. Seriously, this is all that's been going on for the past week and a half. Hopefully things will pick up!
I've missed you ... but I know all too well that sometimes the heart loses the desire to blog. Hopefully you'll get the desire back soon.ReplyDelete
As someone who has issues with scent I'm sure your efforts are much appreciated. I finally had to tell the woman in the office next to me that her "expensive" hand lotion was killing my head.ReplyDelete
Glad to see you here today! In general, it's been pretty quiet in the blogsphere. Everyone's inside watching tv and laying low while winter passes on by : ) Have a great weekend!ReplyDelete
Sometimes I just dont feel the bloggy thing either. Sometimes breaks are needed :) Glad you're back thoughReplyDelete
Congrats to MIL/FIL on 50 years - that's great!
I was wondering where you'd been! I completely get needing a break from blogging, once in awhile. Sometimes, I get in a funk and can't think of a thing to write about. Your in-law's 50th anniversary part will be such fun, I'm sure!ReplyDelete
Have a wondeful weekend :)ReplyDelete
Taking breaks can be wonderful! I love having variety in the music playing. My senior year orchestra teacher got into several broadway musical scores. It was fun!ReplyDelete
Love John Philip Sousa!ReplyDelete
I know how you feel about being in a blogging slump. Sometimes I think "well, I can't blog about THAT"...
Glad you're back today.
Have a great weekend.
I just read your "about me" page which has made me wonder if being a Catholic in the south is sorta like being a Protestant in Wisconsin!
I am the queen of bad blogging, missing weeks at a time. I am back for now and glad to stop by and see you! Have a nice weekend!ReplyDelete
Love the snow pictures of the park!ReplyDelete
50 years is an amazing feat! Good luck with the party prep.ReplyDelete
Bad bloggers? Are there any others?
