Today's item is "Presents wrapped under the tree". YS needed to get another pair of black slacks and a few other things, so CH, YS, & I headed out to town. I hadn't bought the first present when we left, so I took my camera along "just in case". We went to Arby's for lunch, and here's what I saw:
YS got what he needed, and we headed home. I found something for each of the boys, and CH bought something that I had been looking for since we left London. I wrapped the boys' purchases, and mine, then put them under our tree:
A few people commented that they wanted to see our tree. So....here it is:
YS did a pretty decent job, especially since it was his first time. I put some of the ornaments on, but decided not to stress out and put all of them on. I also made a couple of decorations that I had seen in some different places:
Day 5 is "something warm and tasty". What else would I have besides something from Starbucks?
Starbucks is having their "12 Days of Gifting" with a special each day. Friday was a special on the 1 lb. bag of Christmas Blend Coffee. Who knew that if you used your gold card you got a free tall drink of your choice when you bought a bag of coffee? Sunday was a special on a mug; I chose the white one in the picture. The DC mug was a gift last year from my SIL.
I used part of my gift card for today's purchase. My drink of choice today was a Gingerbread Latte, my usual during Christmas.
As I was taking a picture of the few gifts we have under the tree, I had to snap a picture of Ally, my little princess:
Come on, y'all! It's not to late to join Susan and her photo challenge!

Your tree is pretty...kudos to ys!
ReplyDeleteYour tree looks so pretty! I have bought a few gifts (unusual for me), but nothing is wrapped. And I'm not sure where my tree is...perhaps still in the shed at the old house...
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed your pictures. I have been wanting to make one of those glass block presents. I have all the stuff to do it, I need to get busy...lolol.

Fun!! I need to check out this photo challenge... I always love anything with pics :)
ReplyDeleteYour tree is so pretty. I can't wait to get ours up. Maybe tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteLove your shots...and loved the tree with the presents.
ReplyDeleteYour tree is very pretty. I have a hard time not trying to fit all my ornaments on, but I really think the tree looks better when I show some restraint.
ReplyDeleteAlly looks comfy and cozy! Your tree looks beautiful. I think I was reading Joyce yesterday and I thought presents under the tree was way to early! My presents won't be wrapped for at least two more weeks!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your ideas! I too, am participating in Susan's photo challenge. I must say I didn't know that about Starbucks and will have to see what their daily offers are! Thanks for sharing and can't wait to see even more.
ReplyDeleteLove and Hugs ~ Kat
You have a really pretty tree. My sister made me one of the light up blocks with a bow on it. I love it and actually keep mine out year round.
ReplyDeleteI love the light boxes - and the starbucks :).
ReplyDelete(and you have an award at my blog :))
There is just something about a gift under the tree. Hubs grew up where all presents were brought out Christmas Eve. I grew up with once they were bought they were wrapped and put under the tree. We have compromised. We put out the pj's to be opened on the 24th and then gifts from each other and grandparents can too. Love your photos!
ReplyDeleteVery nice looking tree!! And cool presents under it already!!
