~ Think I go to Starbucks too much? The manager gave me this when I went in on Tues. afternoon:
~ On Monday, Mr. Principal was doing the announcements, and he let everybody know that some bear cubs were seen on the school property over the weekend. (This was not my "mountain" school. This school isn't in town, but still isn't in the mountains.) Since it was a nasty, rainy day, there was no danger to anybody since everybody was staying inside. It's quite a problem this year: the bears are coming down looking for food.
~ When I was going home after getting the girls' food from the vet on Wed., I noticed that the mountains were all white. I pulled into a neighborhood to get a good picture, turned on my camera, and...nothing. The batteries were dead. I tried everything to get just a little juice, but, no go. They were beautiful, and the snow was gone yesterday. So, you'll just have to use your imagination and pretend that this picture was from Wed. and not last year:
Hope those bears don't eat the children! I've never seen Blue Bell ice cream; my favorite brand is Turkey Hill.

We go to our Starbucks so much they know us...... and sometimes gives our daughter a free drink. I'm not as cute as she is... sadly.

I think they have just ruled there will be another bear hunt this winter here. They had one last year and killed and the limit was 500. They said there were still more females out there tagged than the number killed. They seem to be getting pretty comfy around here but I hate the idea of a hunt.

I love that flavor ice cream! I first discovered it last year at this time and was hoping they would have it again this year! I bought mine a couple weeks ago. I just bought their Christmas Cookies flavor the other day, the teens love it, it is good but a little too sweet for me.

Blue Bell makes a pumpkin ice cream? Why have I not seen this? Probably because I would buy the store out of it like I do the Braum's pumpkin ice cream. They can't keep it on the shelves...probably because of me.

ReplyDeleteBears? I think I'd be scared silly if I ever saw a bear. We have coyotes here ... I've never seen one, but I hear them at night.
I love the snow on the mountains ... there's snow in the forecast for Monday ... just a few flurries. I hope the weather guy is right this time!

Great fragments. We don't get tht brand of ice cream but I do like Pumpkin ice cream a lot!
