This is a brand new song to me. Those lyrics are incredible.
ReplyDelete"Will you let me be your servant
Let me be as Christ to you
Pray that I may have the grace
To let you be my servant too."
this is a beautiful song. It must have sounded so nice with your congregation singing.
ReplyDeleteMary, Thanks for sharing...I love that song too!! Is the video scenes from a St Francis and St Claire movie?? I haven't seen it before.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing this Mary. So beautiful. I'm going to share it with my parents. I think this will bring them some comfort as they are in their eighties dealing with sickness, fears, and uncertainties.
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to post that I looked and found out that the scenes are from "Brother Sun, Sister Moon", you can watch it online on youtube. We let our kids watch a 10 minute video a few nights a week about a saint, so I was happy to find it.
ReplyDeletethat is a beautiful song; I was wondering if the scenes were from "Brother Sun and Sister Moon" then read the other comments and saw I was correct in my wonderings. For us to truly grasp to be a servant as Christ served us; what a better world that would be indeed!
ReplyDeleteglad you participated in this meme this week!
