I'm joining Stephani again for a Weekend Wrap-up! It's a quick, easy way to, well, wrap up your weekend!
Enjoyed watching Laika sleep in her many different positions. (I wanted to keep my "G" rating for my blog, so I pixeled out her privates! )
A butterfly on my ginormous butterfly bush. That bush really took off this spring and has taken over the back sidewalk!
For Father's Day, I found a recipe for "Chubby Hubby Bars". How could I pass that up??? (In case you're wondering, I call my husband "CH", which initially stood for "Chubby Hubby", but I changed it to "Caring Hubby"!) Next time I'll mix up the peanut butter with the mixer before adding the chocolate chips & pretzels to the batter and maybe add more peanut butter. I think if I had put more chocolate and peanut butter chips on top, it would've been better.
Saturday, CH & I used a free movie ticket to see"The Avengers". (The picture was taken from Wikipedia)
YS & I can scratch one thing off of our "Germany To Do" list! We found some backpacks that should hold all of our stuff for our trip!
YS & CH at lunch on Father's Day.
I saw this commercial Saturday evening:
Take a look at the girl's face...her mom must not be a blogger!
I posted a picture of a butterfly on OUR ginormous butterfly bush for my wrap-up post! Only mine turned out blurry, unlike yours. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove the video! That's just how I feel that I do! Always thinking, that would be good on the blog. Too funny!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week!
Looks like a fun weekend! And, Germany? Between London last year and Germany this year, I think I might be a little jealous.
ReplyDeleteHilarious! I love the "pixeled privates" comments. And, I am printing out the chubby hubby bars as I type! Thanks Mary. Oh and I have seen the MCD's commercial. It's really funny and my kids think it is funny too (I hope they don't think I am the same age as the grandma)!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the Monday giggle!

Just saw your Germany list. What parts are you going to? We went years ago (BC- before children).

Here's our initial itinerary for Germany:
ReplyDeleteHamburg, North Sea Islands, Berlin, there are a few days in a small village when the kids will do a home stay and the adults will be on our own (keeping my fingers crossed that everybody wants to go to Prague!), The Alps, and Munich.
I am so jealous....Germany! I am also very excited for you. Mark is going in September and hasn't invited me along :(
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful time.
I didn't take any pictures this weekend!

When do you go to Germany? I love it! I've never been to the North Sea Islands or Berlin. Daughter1 spent a few days in Berlin with her IB Art class and had a great time. Definitely go to Munich!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! Thanks for joining in again! We rented Thor this weekend simply because we were told we needed to see that before seeing Avengers. Hoping to see Avengers soon. I did like Thor. - Love the video. I've started taking so many pictures for instagram that everytime I see someone taking a picture with their camera I wonder if they are on Instagram. - How exciting that you are going to Germany! When do you leave?
ReplyDeleteI would LOVE to have a butterfly busy, Mary!!! They are all over down here and some look as big as trees! You are so lucky!
