Friday Already?

Mommy's Idea

~  Friday already?  This week flew by!

~  Laika had her third puppy class at Petsmart last night.  There's only 1 other dog in the class, so she's getting quite a bit of attention.

~  MS' car was filthy.  I bought some armorall wipes and wiped down the inside.  I also washed the windows...inside and out.  I don't see how he can stand riding around in that mess.

~  My Curves workout went pretty well.  I took it very easy, and skipped a couple of the machines that target the back.

~  Have you ever been driving somewhere and got so lost in your thoughts that you went right past the place you were going to?  I was taking some motorcycle seats to one of CH's friends, and ended up in the next county.  Yep, I overshot his shop by about 8 miles.  CH's friend got a good laugh about it, then told me about the time he was working in Connecticut and went home to Canada on the weekends.  He drove to the border, reached it at midnight, and realized it was just Wednesday, not Friday.

~ No big plans for this weekend.  Which is just the way I like it!

  1. I forget where I am driving all time. There again I am also directionally challenged.

  2. Yeah, I think we've all been there with the lost it thought driving past our destination thing. Happens to the best of us. ;)

    Enjoy your weekend!

  4. I have definitely spaced out when driving to the point that I barely knew where I was or where I was going!

  6. Oh how I wish I could say that I have no idea what you are talking about! This has happened to me a few times- the first time, it kind of freaked me out. The next time, not so much. Now, I don't even worry about it. LOL

  7. I haven't done much of the driving past my destination ... but I have to admit that I've been known to turn off to go to our old house instead of driving all the way to our new house when I wasn't paying close attention. ;-)

  11. Laughed (sorry) at your getting lost in thoughts comment. It happened to me but not as bad! But really bust a gut reading the story of your friend who made it to the border...48 hours early :)

  12. I saw those Armorall wipes advertised on TV and wondered if they worked well - - - what did you think of them?

  13. LawnBoy cleaned my car for me last weekend when I wouldn't let him mow the lawn because it was too hot... I went out there and he was Armor-alling and using a brush to get in all the crevices. I almost fell over!

I'm constantly daydreaming and auto-piloting the wrong way or missing my destination. I blogged not too long ago about forgetting to pick up my friends daughter. I knew I needed to when I got in the car....

  14. MOst the time I just space out and pull in the driveway and am just amazed that I got here without injury. I don't remember the ride home. Crazy how our thoughts can take us another place and our brain is still running on auto pilot.
You don't want to see my car..ahem.

  15. I enjoyed Skye's classes. She learned so much from them. Yes I have been so caught up in thoughts that I passed by where I was going.
What really scares me is when I head somewhere and then when I get there I wonder how did I get here because I was again caught up in my thoughts. Sometimes it seems like the car knows where I am going!

  17. It's been a while since I've been by. I was busy and not blogging much, but now that I've been on summer break I'm trying to catch up with some past blogging buddies. Nice to see your still here and still writing!
