Java's back after taking a week of for Easter Sunday. Want to join in? Click on the link and see how other bloggers answered the questions of the week!
1. What is your favorite kind of muffin?
If I make it, banana nut. If I'm at Panera, I'm a little partial to this "Cobblestone" muffin they have. I don't know if it technically is a muffin, but it sure is good!
2. What was the first car you ever owned?
A Dodge Omni. That little thing would go in the snow! Mine was similar to this one, but had a black pinstripe.
3. Which TV Show were you sad to see end?
M*A*S*H . But, since it was on tv longer than the actual Korean War, I guess it was time.
4. What is your lucky number?
I don't have one.
5. Pretzels or Potato Chips?
Potato chips. Unless the pretzel has a rolo and pecan on top.
Or is just covered in chocolate:
Or is in an M&M:
Omg Mary that is too funny! What's even funnier is that I was going to write how awesome it drove in the snow! lol..
ReplyDeleteI am so a potato chip kind of girl. Never liked pretzels even if they are covered in chocolate. I am not a sweet and salty kind of girl! XO
ReplyDeleteI used to love watching MASH. I was all teary eyed when it finished. It still makes me smile to think that the show outlasted the war by 7 years.
ReplyDeletehave a great week!
Aren't those m&m's the best ever? Wow...yum
ReplyDeleteI'm definitely going to try one of those "cobblestone" muffins at Panera the next time we're there. It looks just YUMMY! Have a marvelous Monday!
ReplyDeletePotato chips for me too! Mary, got that "missing friends list" fixed just this morning. Apparently it had something to do with not having Flash Player. Our IT guy came over and tried that and it worked. Weird! I was out of work for about two and a half weeks, some of which was spent in the hospital with intestinal problem. I came back part of the week before Easter and was here all of last week. Now the problem is getting everything caught up!
ReplyDeleteThose cobblestones are sinful! So delicious!
ReplyDeleteMary! *high five from another "my first car was a Dodge omni" girl* Loved it! Being from LA, it wasn't ever tested in the snow; but it went to the lake and swimming pool like crazy. Jessica has me thinking of dipping potato chips in chocolate now. How sick am I?! haha
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, my friend!
Yum! Have a good week. :)
ReplyDeleteOkay, your food choices look so good my stomach growled just looking at them! I would like to ask a favor.
ReplyDeleteI am a mom and nana and I do a blog called NanaHood. I am also one of your followers! I am hosting a Mother's Day Contest (deadline is Wed. night) and would love for you to tell your readers about it.
It's simple to enter. Write to me at teresa@nanahood.com and tell me about a super mom you know. She could be your friend, neighbor or a relative. I will post the essays on my blog and the one with the most comments wins a queen size homemade qulit for the person they nominated!
I would really appreciate your help getting the word out! Thank you for your time and Happy Mother's Day this Sunday!

I'm a diehard MASH fan, too. Didn't really like the show when it was on, but we watch reruns all the time and have every episode on DVD.
ReplyDeleteWe're finally getting a Panera here and I'll be sure to try one of those muffins. Looks yummy!
W are so much alike. I had a Dodge Omni...same color and everything...
ReplyDeleteYou can claim my lucky number along with me "3". Got it?
ReplyDeleteNow I totally have a chocolate craving!!!
ReplyDeleteI hadn't tried those M*M's with peanuts in it yet; need to do so soon! that Cobblestone counts as a muffin to me; never been to Panera even though there are some around me, now I think I have a reason to check it out!
ReplyDeletebetty
The poor pretzel, you put a lot of stipulations on them. :)
