(I think it's time to get a new kitchen tv.) Even banging on it wouldn't bring it back to life.
My intern was back this week after taking last week off to study for comps. It was nice to have her back; I get a lot of paperwork done when she's here! We had a meeting at the Central Office after school. In the morning I reminded her about it. After we saw our last student, we went back to my room to clean up and put the room back in order. I was wondering why she was going so slow, and she was wondering why I was in such a hurry, but, of course we didn't voice our thoughts! Finally, after I put on my coat, she asked me if I was cold. I told her that I was getting ready to go to the meeting, and it dawned on her that we had to leave to go to the meeting; it wasn't a meeting with a parent at the school. Okay, here's the scary part: We are teaching children to communicate! We got a good laugh out of it!
When I got home, I was ready to put on my nice, comfy pajamas that my mother-in-law had given me for Christmas. Add my "Life Is Good" socks, and I was all comfy cozy! Y'all wouldn't believe how soft and comfortable the pajamas are! I wore them all day on New Year's Day. My husband's brother called that evening and asked if we wanted to come up to the cabin he & his wife had rented. Let's see...does that involve me getting out of my new, soft, comfy 'jamas? He tried to entice me with a hot tub, but that would've meant getting in the shower and shaving my legs. As much as I love them, I just couldn't do it! So, I stayed in those comfy 'jamas until the next day! This picture isn't so great of them, but hopefully you can get the idea:
Does anybody else have a favorite pair of pajamas that are perfect on a cold evening, or am I just really weird? :)
Load up on the butter, y'all...Paula's coming to town! Well, not exactly my town, but it's closer to me than Savannah. I'd even change my comfy 'jamas for Paula!
Paula's coming to Cherokee? Oh we'll have to check that out! Thanks for the tip : )
ReplyDeleteI have comfy soft jammies and I may have spent more than a few hours in them this week...I've been home alone for the most part which makes it pretty tempting to stay in the nice comfy jammies.
My husband has been teasing me for basically living in my jammies since Valentine's Day! I've been to Cherokee - a looong time ago.
